Redmi Note 9S: the spearhead for the mid-range

The new Redmi Note 9S arrives with a beautiful glass body design, a rectangular module for the cameras and a front occupied almost entirely by the screen. The only interruption is the small hole that houses its front camera. Its panel, with IPS technology, reaches 6.67 inches along with a Full HD + resolution, but the refresh rate stays at 60 Hz. The fingerprint reader, on the other hand, will be on the side.
Its brain is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 720G, a solvent processor that has been designed for gaming. It comes along with versions of 6 GB and 8 GB of RAM, some very interesting numbers for the mid-range. It will have two versions of storage, 64 GB and 128 GB. The total of its specifications is detailed below:

On the back of the new Chinese device, a total of 4 cameras. We find a 48-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle, a 5-megapixel macro sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor for the bokeh effect. On the other hand, the front camera reaches 16 megapixels.
The Chinese firm has incorporated an impressive 5,020 mAh battery in the newly presented, with a fast charge of 18W. They promise up to two days of use, something that we have been able to verify in previous terminals such as the Redmi Note 8 or the Redmi Note 8T. This Redmi Note 9S also has a headphone jack and even an infrared port.
The price for now has only been announced in dollars, so we will have to wait for an official statement. We are talking about $249 for its version with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. The model with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory will start at $279.

When playing the graphically demanding titles that came out this year, the display didn't sacrifice details in any way. In night scenes the details of the images were seen perfectly. Not only does it look flawless, but the large image size allows for an immersive experience when playing all kinds of titles. Needless to say, it is also ideal for consuming any type of visual content in the highest quality, such as series and movies on Netflix.
In terms of audio, the team's speakers respond without shining in their performance. They have a lot of volume, but the bass is lost very easily. It can reach a high volume, enough to hear the sound at a considerable distance. Either way, you'd better have some good gaming headphones.
